I had a phonecall a couple of weeks ago from a performer at Colchester's "Party in the Park" event which is held every year in the Castle Park, Colchester. The guy was from one of the tributes who had been paid, by cheque, after the event. The cheque bounced and apparently, so did all the other performers!
Not a surprise really as the event was a poorly advertised flop held in rainy and cold March.
Has anyone else heard about the rubberized cheques? Is it true? Let me know....
